Botanical Maximalist Wedding

Set against a modern lakeside home, this celebration embraced playful nostalgia and refined whimsy in equal measure. Guests were welcomed by a patchwork of mismatched vintage chairs, gathered one by one from local markets and antique stores, forming a sea of wood tones and personality beneath the summer sky.

Under the tent, the atmosphere bloomed into a kaleidoscope of color — lemon-yellow and peach linens, scalloped runners, and cheerful floral centerpieces bursting with dahlias, cosmos, and zinnias. Overhead, I installed floating lanterns and paper hot air balloons, creating a canopy of color and movement that danced with the breeze.

The bar area was fully customized, featuring a bespoke vinyl with the couple’s names and event branding, and I styled the shelves behind the bar with curated objects that reflected their personalities — personal, eclectic, and full of charm.

As dusk fell, soft table lamps replaced the sun, pooling golden light over the tables and desserts. The result was a gathering that felt both nostalgic and fresh — an ode to joy, color, and the art of thoughtful detail.
